She started her Bollywood career with the movie Dangal based on real-life experience of Famous Indian wrestlers and she played her role as Babita Phogat wrestler. She was born and brought up in Delhi in a middle-class family. In her childhood, she took training in dancing and she is also a trained ballet dancer.

Her father is an Engineer and her mother is a Homemaker. After her graduation she moved to Mumbai to start her career in dancing. For which she has appeared in dancing reality show Dance India Dance but could not come upto top After that she started giving auditions for TV commercials and series, she appeared in so many commercials before starting her Film career.
